This notice covers this prototype website and its evaluation-request form. Updated 19 October 2026.

Evaluation requests

The form asks for your email address and, optionally, your name and a message. These details are sent to the project’s email inbox so the developer can respond to your request. You are not subscribed to marketing. Do not include passwords, Spotify credentials or other sensitive information.

Website operation

The website uses a first-party session cookie to protect the form and display submission feedback. It expires with the browser session. No advertising or analytics cookies are used. Fonts and screenshots are served from this website.

The hosting server may keep ordinary security and access logs, including IP addresses. To limit form abuse, the website also stores short-lived request counters keyed by a daily hash of the submitting IP address. These counters contain submission times, not your name, email or message; expired counter files are removed during subsequent form submissions.

How information is handled

Your request is processed through the project’s web-hosting and email services. Correspondence is retained only as needed to respond to evaluation requests and manage related discussions. It is not sold or used for advertising.

Spotify

This website does not connect to your Spotify account or ask for Spotify authorization. The application’s Spotify connection is a separate, experimental integration. Virtual Jukebox is not affiliated with or endorsed by Spotify.
